As part of our long-standing representation of Brake Check, we are always seeking new sites for them across Texas. We identified a hole in Brake Check’s coverage of the very tight Northwest area of Austin, TX. Automotive repair site selection in Austin is a difficult challenge. To build a new facility is an exhaustive process, and second-generation automotive shops are extremely competitive and hard to find. We researched options and sourced available opportunities. It took in-depth research but, when an existing automotive repair shop came available on Burnet Road north of Anderson Lane, we were ready and acted quickly. We were able to identify the opportunity as soon as it became available. The site presented great placement in the area on a highly trafficked street and had good visibility. It was an older shop but, in these situations, you have to be creative and have an eye for what the real estate will look like after remodeling and branding is complete. Like any deal in Austin, it took patience, timing, and hard work. We were competing against multiple offers, but we were able to secure a great location for Brake Check. After some tender loving care was applied, the store met all our client’s requirements and looked great.
