As part of Patrick Graham’s long-standing representation of Brake Check, he is always seeking new sites and managing store placements in each market to avoid cannibalization. Patrick identified an opportunity to reposition stores in the Far West Houston submarket around Westheimer and Beltway 8. This involved a strategy of selling two under-performing locations to acquire a preferred location on Westheimer Road. Patrick researched options and sourced available opportunities. He identified multiple sites, screened them against the site selection criteria, toured sites with the key stakeholders of Brake Check, and successfully negotiated the terms for the purchase of the pad Brake Check selected. The strategy proved successful, reduced cannibalization, and provided better market coverage.
